Dr. Nicholas Harding, a New York native, earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas A&M and subsequently received his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center school of medicine. Dr. Harding did an internship in Greenville, S.C. Dr. Harding completed his Orthopedic residency as chief resident at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. This training was very intense training in Total Joint Arthroplasty, Geriatric and Pediatric Orthopedic surgery. These areas continue to be areas of special interest. Dr. Harding's Fellowship was in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine. Dr. Harding has over 18 years' experience as an attending Orthopedic Surgeon, including; at a level one teaching trauma center, team doctor for Collage and High School teams, Orthopedic Department Chair and Chair at surgical center. Dr. Harding has published several papers and presented at national orthopedic meetings. He has been recognized as one of America's top Orthopedic Surgeons for over 7 years. Dr. Harding's focus is on complete Orthopedic care with special interests in total joint arthroplasty, geriatric care, pediatric orthopedics, diseases of the shoulder, arthroscopic surgery, fracture care and sports medicine.
On a more personal note, Dr. Harding met his wife, Jennifer, while living in New York City. They are blessed with two lovely girls; Elizabeth Aine and Emily Jane. Free time is spent with the family activities and when time available gardening and wood working. Dr. Harding and his family make frequent day and weekend trips to enjoy the incredible culture and natural beauty of this part of the country.

Mark FordMark Ford PA-C
Mark Ford specializes in Sports Medicine, Pediatrics, Fracture Care, and General Orthopedics. He completed his undergraduate Bachelor of Science Degree at James Madison University,1995 before continuing his training at Wake Forest School of Medicine for his Physician Assistant Degree, 1999. Mark graduated with honors in both programs. He also obtained a Master's Degree at the University of Nebraska, 2001, once again specializing in Physician Assistant Studies. Mark is recognized as a national speaker on a variety of topics and served with the U.S. Olympics.
Mark is a native of Virginia and is active locally at Lifepoint Church. His hobbies include backpacking the Appalachian Trail and traveling with family. He is married with 2 children and counts his past jobs as a paramedic and athletic trainer as helping him in clinic every day.
Mark is universally respected regionally and statewide among PA's and physicians alike. He has been instrumental in advancing the field of sports medicine with the local High Schools and Universities. With 2 decades of service in Fredericksburg, he cares for all age groups and orthopedic ailments.
Jonathan Wood PA-C
Mr. Jonathan Wood P.A. earned his BS from Longwood college with concentrations in Sports Medicine and Exercise Physiology and later earned his Master's degree in Physicians Assistant studies from James Madison University in 2006. Mr. Wood joined CVOSM family shortly after graduating from JMU and enjoys developing relationships and treating his own patients as well as assisting our physicians both their clinics or in the hospital setting. In addition to being a Certified Physician Assistant ( PA-C ), he is also a Certified Athletic Trainer ( ATC ) and former Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists ( CSCS ) with a special interest in sports injuries. Over the years, Mr. Wood has served on multiple medical teams with VA USA Wrestling National Teams and has done a summer fellowship with the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO wherein he has worked primarily with the wrestling teams, but also covered the boxing and gymnastics. In addition to athletic injuries, he has specialist in the treatment of osteoarthritis and osteoporosis.
